FAQs

How does a Dry-Hire Bar work?

The state of Texas DOES NOT allow a liquor license without being owned by a brick and mortar establishment like a restaurant or bar. Violet and Pearl a mobile bar service, therefore does not qualify under this law.

To comply with the State of Texas' law, you are required to purchase the alcohol but we provide you with an itemized shopping list. We are allowed to mix and serve the drinks within our mobile camper.

We will work with you, the customer, to create a customized drink menu to ensure you buy the correct alcohol for your event. You as the client will turn over the alcohol to Violet and Pearl for your event and at the conclusion of the event whatever alcohol that is unused open or unopened will be turned back over to you.
